Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an Operations Manager in the business field of special shipbuilding. Our business considers customer-specific development projects of power electronic products (invert-ers/converters). Do you approach new challenges independently and in a solution-oriented manner? Make the difference with us – apply now! • It is your responsibility to ensure that the project portfolio is managed consistently according to best practices and guidelines. • You lead and oversee the project execution team, developing and adapting standardized processes and work instructions. • Your task is to monitor project execution and performance evaluation through project reviews and actively resolve escalated issues. • You participate in the budgeting process. • You participate in the business forecast process • You are responsible for implementing continuous improvements in the project execution strategy. • You validate and support the implementation of appropriate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) measures in project operations. • You are involved in the bidding and sales phase, including estimation and resource planning.

Qualifications for the role

• (Technical) university education in electrical engineering
• Sound technical knowledge in the development of electrical products
• Talent for leading teams in an international matrix organization
• Experience in leading teams in the area of development projects for electrical products or comparable would be desirable.
• Sound knowledge in change management, financial management, legal and contract management.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
• SAP R3 knowledge is an advantage (SD, PS)
• Willingness to travel approx. 30 days / year
