QIMA Monasterium is based in Münster, Germany, and specializes in pre-clinical and clinical services in dermatology for therapeutics, cosmeceutical, and nutraceutical applications, offering among other clinically relevant ex vivo and in vivo pre-clinical models and state-of-the-art techniques.
We are seeking a team-orientated and highly motivated Business Development Managers (m/f/d) full-time to join our international team, while having the specialization and focus on QIMA Monasterium service offering in clinical ex vivo and in-vivo pre-clinical models.
The Role in Brief:
The main responsibility of this post is to prospects pharma and biotech business customers to technically present and sell our services according to our commercial objectives. Retains existing pharma and biotech customers, develops, organizes, and ensures the consolidation of commercial activity internationally (incl. USA). While reporting directly to the Managing Director of QIMA Monasterium, this position is incorporated within the Global Pharma Sales Team of QIMA Life Sciences and reports also to the Head of Pharma. Sale and scientific technical training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect within your scope with a multi-sector clientele (pharma, biotech),
Retains and develop further existing pharma and biotech customers
Present Business Unit and Division services in dermatology in a professional scientific manner,
Identify and analyze client needs
Develop study proposals (with the support of the scientific team) and negotiate with clients,
Achieve your annual sales targets set by the management,
Interact in inter-department cooperation to obtain the most efficient teamwork and promote the sales of the studies,
Participate in various conference and professional fairs,
Visit clients on site
Timely update of Sales Tools (CRM)
Provide support to developing an efficient price calculation tool,
Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing and commercial operations and perform competitive monitoring in your sector
Report on your commercial activity,
Contribute to accounting recovery
Requirements:
PhD completion in a relevant field preferably in dermatology (optional in pharmaceutical sciences, immunology, medical science, life sciences, etc.)
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (Company language: English)
Preference for candidates with documented scientific knowledge on skin and/or hair biology
Preference for candidates with proven expertise on sales techniques, prospecting, and negotiation
Extensive knowledge of pre-clinical and clinically relevant ex vivo and in vivo pre-clinical models services for therapeutics. Particular expertise in dermatology is strongly preferred
Candidates should be able to relocate or be available for regular visits to our office in Münster, Germany
Strong written, analytical, and synthesis skills
Experience with technological and competitive monitoring
