Summary
We are looking for a “Product Manager for Electro-Optical Submarine Systems (f/m/d)” with a focus on software for the “Naval” business unit at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The “Naval” business unit is responsible for periscope and optronic mast systems that are used worldwide.
Your Tasks

Creation of strategic product roadmaps, management and business plans

Responsibility for the use of the budget for planning, provision and maintenance of the electro-optical submarine systems

Active obsolescence management across the product portfolio

Product requirements and innovation management including estimation of future expectations and trends

Ongoing market monitoring with regard to software and its technological developments and innovations as well as their implementation in the product portfolio of electro-optical submarine systems

Participation in and attendance at trade fairs and customer events

Carrying out competitive analyses

Support in the preparation of offers
-
Planning and implementation of demonstrations including material / equipment
Willingness to travel internationally is a prerequisite.
Your Profile
- Completed studies as Master of Science / Diploma in Engineering or comparable
- Several years of project manager and / or product management experience
- Ideally a military background; confident dealing at military level as well as competence in dealing with international customers
- Industry and product knowledge advantageous
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical understanding and a solution-oriented way of working
- Assertiveness, ability to work in a team, leadership skills, conflict management and negotiation skills
- Very good German and English skills, another foreign language advantageous
