Lab Technician (m/f/d) – Cell Culture & Biotechnology

Our Human Platelet Lysates (HPL) are trusted by research labs and cell therapy developers around the world. To accelerate our growth and push the boundaries of animal-free cell culture, we are looking for a dedicated Lab Technician (m/f/d) to strengthen our R&D team.

Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be an essential part of our laboratory team, supporting the development, production, and testing of our innovative HPL products. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Designing and executing laboratory experiments using biotechnological and biochemical methods.
  • Working with cell cultures, including human and animal cell lines, as well as primary cells.
  • Cultivating cells under GxP conditions and maintaining a reliable cell banking system.
  • Developing and optimizing protocols for the production of Human Platelet Lysates (HPL).
  • Planning and conducting in vitro studies and performing cell culture performance tests.
  • Analyzing, documenting, and reporting results with precision and accuracy.
  • Establishing detection methods for various biological molecules.
  • Organizing the laboratory space and ensuring the proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintaining quality assurance and following GxP standards.

What You Bring to the Table
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Must-haves

  • Completed training as BTA, MTLA, Biology Lab Assistant, or a B.Sc. in Biotechnology (or related field) with hands-on lab experience.
  • Practical experience working with cell lines and primary cells.
  • Proficiency in cell culture and biotechnology techniques — experience with stem cells or Human Platelet Lysates (HPL) is a strong advantage.

Personal Skills

  • Proactive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a structured, accurate approach to lab work.
  • Curiosity and passion for learning new methods and techniques.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Solid experience with MS Office and familiarity with analytical software such as GraphPad.
