International Product Manager (f/m/x) Life Science

Norderstedt (near Hamburg)

Your responsibilities

  • Be in charge of the product lifecycle management of *3rd party products within our Sysmex Life Science product portfolio, in the field of oncology with special focus on breast and colorectal cancers

  • Drive conceptual design, business plans and the implementation of product launches and market expansion in the EMEA region

  • Define marketing strategies, conduct market research, develop customer/market segmentation,

    value proposition, positioning and associated sales/ marketing tools

  • Monitor and analyse product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement and closely collaborate with *3rd party suppliers to improve product features, specifications and requirements

  • Support our EMEA affiliates and distributors in achieving commercial targets, by collaborating with the Life Science Team for pre- and post-launch actions

  • Support/Collaborate with the Application Specialist in product demonstrations and trainings (all in a laboratory setting)

  • Ensure that product updates, complaint handling and post marketing surveillance are dealt with efficiently and effectively

  • Collaborate closely with shared services (Supply Chain Management, MarCom, Regulatory Affairs, Legal Affairs, Quality Management, Finance) to ensure a smooth business flow and expansion

  • Take responsibility for the marketing-related collaboration with *3rd party suppliers

  • Develop and conduct internal product and sales training

  • Represent our products at congresses and events in the EMEA region

    • 3rd Party products or suppliers means products that we are distributing from external suppliers outside the Sysmex Group

Your profile

  • Academic degree in international business, marketing, natural sciences, medical science or equivalent

  • More than 5 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on product marketing or sales

  • Knowledge in the field of healthcare, ideally laboratory diagnostic market (IVD) is a plus

  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of other European languages advantageous

  • Creative and innovative team player with a hands-on mindset and ability to handle complex situations with creativity and problem solving competency

  • Highly analytical, structured and proactive work style combined with the willingness to develop a new business field

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills

  • Willingness to travel in the EMEA region
