For our department Regional Hub Europe we are looking for a

Senior Sales Manager Western and Central Europe (m/f/d)

in full-time at our location in western and central Europe.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales person to join the European sales team. Applying a leadership in collaborating with a dedicated and large team with diverse competences (technical, pre-sales, legal, planning, sales operations, customer services, bid management … ) to manage and/or capture identity government projects, and developing a solid sales strategy to bid and win targeted Public Tenders.

Your main tasks:
  • Implementation of the regional sales strategy to support the company's growth strategy and its goals.
  • Developing a successful sales strategy in the public sector with long-term procurement cycles and in a well-established competitive landscape.
  • Identification and qualification of new business opportunities, customer needs and expectations within the government environment
  • Carrying out the necessary sales activities to promote and sell secure identity documents, secure and sophisticated solutions related to.
  • Lead sales and contract negotiations in coordination with multi-disciplinary internal resources.
  • Establishing business partnerships to support a specific sales strategy and maintaining a multidisciplinary network
  • Building trusting customer relationships as well as relationships with decision-makers in the government environment.
  • Responsible for managing the customer account once the contract has been concluded. Responsible for customer relationships, incoming orders and sales forecasts
  • Leading preparation of offers for simple projects or coordination of the internal service for more complex projects (product management, offer management, order processing)
  • Representation of the company (at trade fairs, lectures, etc.)

Your profile:
  • You have a completed technical or business college or university education as well as technical and business consulting skills, coupled with a high level of customer orientation
  • You have at least 10 years of relevant sales professional experience in international busines and at least 5 years of relevant sales experience in Identity business, in the public sector or government business
  • Ideally, you bring 5 years of professional experience in in selling hardware, software and ID documents in the identity solutions market
  • Experience in solution selling is a plus
  • Your work style is characterized by autonomy, goal-oriented thinking and actions, a convincing appearance and very good communication skills
  • Your leadership capacity will allow you to work with a multidiscipline team working
  • You have an entrepreneurial personality, think and act across departments and impress with your high level of motivation
  • You are cosmopolitan and have a high level of intercultural competence
  • A high level of resilience completes your profil
  • You need to be fluent in German and English
  • This position requires minimum 30% willingness to travel
