Role Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the commercialization of Deephealth’s product portfolio in the targeted region and accountable for the execution of Deephealth’s commercial (strategy) towards allocated segments and key accounts.
You will be responsible for sales and account development of the Deephealth product portfolio in the Iberia region with a focus on our clinical AI solutions in Lung and Prostate as well as our radiology informatics solutions. The lung clinical AI solution has two use cases (Lung cancer screening and routine clinical practice for incidental nodule management) while our Prostate solution currently supports routine clinical practice. Our radiology informatics solutions is our on-premise PACS/RIS solution which is being upgraded to a cloud based radiology Operating System with dedicated workspaces and generative AI tools (the new solutions will be rolled out in Europe starting 2025)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate activities to drive market and segment development; prospecting the market to source an ambitious pipeline and qualify promising leads towards actionable sales funnel
- Manage the Decision Making Unit’s (DMU’s) in the hospitals and it’s corresponding networks (e.g. cancer alliances) to get acceptance among various stakeholders and to close deals (signed contracts) and partnerships
- Drive sales conversion from qualified leads to multi-year contracts.
- Manage sales cycle’s metrics to continuously improve funnel, timelines and forecast predictability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory affairs, quality control and privacy systems.
- Provide product feedback and market intelligence to the internal teams (product development, medical, marketing, compliance, sales and management).
- Work closely together with entire Deephealth team to create an inclusive customer experience through the entire customer lifecycle.
- Attend industry trade shows on a local and global level.
Competencies
- Understanding of the buyer journey and the Decision Making Unit (DMU) in radiology clinical solutions/informatics and/or MedTech
- Experience with the DMU structure in the hospitals. Preferably in Radiology and/or Oncology and/or Pulmonology &Urology.
- Ability to develop and deliver on a cohesive Go-To-Market plan for Iberia (and act independently).
- Converse at senior executive level, comfortable calling and talking to higher management.
- Comfortable in bridging gaps from the early adopters to mainstream market sales.
- Ability to work cohesively and effectively with employees and customers at all levels/departments of the organizations.
- Self-starter with a positive, hands-on mindset and self-motivator with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and initiative (rain-maker).
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years’ successful selling experience in Healthcare (-technology), preferably in IT solutions (PACS, RIS, VNA or EPR) across EU and specifically in Iberia region
- Proven track record of closing deals in a complex healthcare (IT) environment.
- Familiarity with sales cycle management, key metrics and improvement cycles in the Healthcare market.
- Excellent English and local language oral and written communication skills.
- Passionate and committed towards exceeding customer expectations.
- Ready for frequent (customer) travel (30-50%) and flexible regarding working times.
- A valid EU work permit.
