In your new role you will:
- Manage the team of cross-functional engineers developing Infineon’s in-house circuit simulator TITAN and its products.
- Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and translate product requirements into a best-in-class analog and mixed-signal circuit simulator
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, self-responsibility, and accountability working in an agile team setup
- Deliver simulator releases in line with the product roadmap, on time, and with high-quality
- Ensure continuous improvement and optimization of the simulator to achieve maximum performance, feature set, and maintainability
- Convey complex technical concepts clearly and e?ectively to both users and peers
- Analyze and solve highly complex problems using your technical expertise and your global expert network
- Organize support for our worldwide user community and safeguard the excellent reputation of the TITAN hotline
Maintain relations with Universities for innovation and attraction of young talents
As a Senior Manager Circuit Simulator Development, you demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks. Furthermore, you work conscientiously on making things better, faster, and more efficient. Lastly, you actively look for the ideal solution and engage in professional debates with the relevant people, instead of accepting rash compromises.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related areas
- More than 5 years of work experience preferably in software development or electronic design automation (EDA) or analog/mixed-signal design. Previous experience in leading teams is a plus.
- Experience in the analog / mixed-signal simulation of complex chips and strong flow and methodology know-how including familiarity with EDA landscape/vendors
- In the best case: already previous work experience with the development of SPICE-based circuit simulators such as Cadence Spectre, Synopsys XA/HSPICE, SiemensEDA AFS, SIMetrix, Orcad PSpice, LTspice, etc.
- Proactive and self-driven attitude to collaborate with internal stakeholders to de?ne a product strategy and roadmaps of TITAN products
- Leadership skills for developing the team members' skills and having strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Experience with conflict resolution, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multitask effectively
- Ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and stakeholders
- Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile software development methods and tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with German language skills seen as a plus.
