Summary
We are looking for an “IT System Manager Datacenter (f/m/d)” for the “Compute / Storage / Backup /Data Base Management” department in Ulm as soon as possible.
The “Infrastructure and Cloud Services” department is responsible for the design, provision and operation of the server and network infrastructure as well as for company-wide communication at the various locations and in the cloud. For specific projects, some of which are classified as confidential, the Infrastructure division also designs and operates self-sufficient IT environments within the Hensoldt Group.
HENSOLDT IM (Information Management) forms the global IT of the HENSOLDT Group. With scalable and flexible architectures and business-oriented IT solutions, we enable the growth targets of the HENSOLDT Group. We provide innovative digital solutions for HENSOLDT's product portfolio and processes.
Your Tasks

Ensuring smooth IT operations in the data center

Consulting, conception, planning and sizing of complex infrastructures

Developing proposals for optimizing the IT infrastructure
-
Analysis and troubleshooting in the existing IT environment

Virtualization with regard to private and hybrid cloud architectures

Management of service providers in the data center area
-
Participation in or management of infrastructure projects
-
Independent implementation and coordination of system checks
-
Management and monitoring of interfaces
-
Creation of service catalogs, SLAs, KPIs, process documentation

Further development of known solutions
Your Profile
-
Completed studies (business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering), training in computer science or comparable qualification with professional experience

Several years of professional experience in the storage, backup and database environment of large system landscapes (Nutanix, Netapp, Veeam, SQL, Oracle and Solaris)

Comprehensive knowledge of network technologies

Independent, service- and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills

Motivation and commitment to drive forward new topics in the data center infrastructure

Strong team and communication skills as well as an independent and structured way of working

Fluent German and good English skills
