Your role and responsibilities

Is in the dynamic mining sector. You will be the key to success by ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures, regulations and standards. Using your expertise, you will lead the project team and delegate tasks effectively to meet project requirements, deliver contractually agreed results and achieve set targets. This position contributes to the Process Automation - Process Industries division at the Cottbus site and focuses on innovative drive and automation solutions for engineering companies in the mining industry. Your main responsibilities will include: • Leading and motivating the project team and establishing a clear project approach, including planning, monitoring and controlling internal and external resources to successfully achieve all project objectives. • Monitoring project progress, resource utilization and financial aspects while proactively identifying risks and exploiting opportunities. • Oversee electrical projects for mining conveyor systems and equipment to ensure that all requirements are met on time and on budget; occasional attendance at overseas handovers is required. • Coordinate the formal acceptance of the project and contract closure in close coordination with the customer in accordance with contractual agreements.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are experienced in project management methods and in the field of drive and automation technology for conveyor systems and equipment in the mining industry.
  • You have several years of experience in project development and can demonstrate that you can successfully manage and implement projects.
  • You are team-oriented and have strong communication skills as well as a technical-commercial sense of responsibility.
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering or automation technology.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally (also internationally) to accompany project acceptance and progress on site.
