Summary
We are looking for an “Operational Excellence Manager (f/m/d)” for the “Radar Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The Radar Engineering department is responsible for the development of radars for civil and military use. We are looking for a dedicated Operational Excellence Manager to join our Radar Engineering team and support us in continuously improving our planning and development processes.
Your Tasks

Establishing a standard for engineering project management (for the subsequent phases of the PDCA cycle: planning and checking)

Review and continuous evaluation of ongoing engineering projects (project structure, governance, consistency of project data)

Development of a suitable communication strategy to ensure effective communication and collaboration between all functions involved (production, program area), for example through workshops

Definition and implementation of a continuous improvement system in engineering (collection, evaluation and implementation of suggestions and success monitoring)

Acting as a change agent for the consolidation of the change management strategy and its implementation within the engineering community

Coaching and guiding project managers development / technical project managers in the field of technical project management
Your Profile
-
Completed studies in the field of engineering, MBA or comparable
-
Many years of practical experience in project / program management in the field of technical development, ideally in the defense sector

Experience in the application of process improvement methods (Six Sigma, Lean) advantageous
-
Expert knowledge in the use of project management tools and methods (waterfall, agile, hybrid)

Strong organizational skills, ability to work efficiently and set priorities

Excellent communication, moderation and persuasion skills

Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize and understand complex relationships

Business fluent in German and English
