We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager Proposal and Contract Management to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering the strategy of Boehringer Ingelheim´s contract manufacturing business (BioX).

- As Senior Manager Proposal and Contract Management Germany, you will establish competitive and customized proposals with defined work packages, timelines, and deliverables by leading the internal evaluation of customer inquiries for development, clinical and commercial supply of biopharmaceuticals.
- With your communicational and organizational skills, you explain content and defend business aspects (e.g. pricing) of the proposal in customer meetings.
- Furthermore, you are responsible to update proposals in running projects and support project management regarding business and contractual topics.
- You will develop business models and commercial price structures for clients in alignment with defined pricing strategies.
- Sales Persons, Business Development & Key Account Management will be supported by you in the customer acquisition process as link to the line functions at the manufacturing site.
- You organize and coordinate customer visits and due diligence inspections during the acquisition process.
- In your new role you actively support the key account strategy of Boehringer Ingelheim´s contract manufacturing business (CMB) as well as negotiate and close CMB contracts as a member of a negotiation team.
- You represent Proposal and Contract management and CMB Business in local and international initiatives and projects.
- Master or PhD degree in Natural or Applied Sciences, economics or business administration with at several years of professional experience
- Experience in project management (GMP or PMI Certification) or knowledge of the development and manufacturing process of biopharmaceuticals would be an advantage
- First leadership experience and ability to direct and motivate matrix teams. International work experience is also required
- Talent in planning and organization coupled with assertiveness
- Communication and presentation skills as well as market team spirit
- Software know-how of MS-Office Applications and SAP R/3
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German
