Finance Systems Transformation is responsible for running SHAPE+ - a DHL Group cross-divisional Finance transformation program. SHAPE+ aims at driving standardization and automation of core Accounting and Cost Accounting processes across Business Units and its consolidation into ONE SAP S/4HANA Finance ERP platform. This significantly increases the efficiency and effectiveness of our Finance set-up and is the basis for the continuous transformation and digitalization of the DHL Group Finance organization.
Within the SHAPE+ organization, the Program, Deployment & Change Management team is responsible for the central program management of the transformation program, the overall deployment management of the platform, the definition and governance of the project methodology, training, and enablement of the teams as well as the overall change management and communication. It is complemented by the teams of Process Standards & Governance, Platform & Digitalization as well as Data Migration, Test & Authorization Management.

As Senior Deployment Manager, you will be in the driver's seat, orchestrating and guiding cross-functional global teams throughout the roll-out & deployment lifecycle, from local requirements gathering to cutover & go-live. With one defined global Finance process and platform yet in place and 20+ entities already operative on the SHAPE+ platform, you will be paramount in shaping next steps into large scale deployment and on the exiting journey towards the SAP Public Cloud.
YOUR TASKS
- Overseeing, coordinating, and tracking all SHAPE+ deployment activities for the designated deployment wave or scope, ensuring the overall integration and prioritization with further program initiatives or activities.
- Orchestrating and enabling discipline owners (e.g. Fit-Gap, Testing, Data Migration, Training), divisional deployment teams, Process and Platform Build teams along all deployment activities.
- Synchronizing and managing dependencies across teams, entities, disciplines, and external partners.
- Proactively identifying, addressing, and mitigating deployment risks and potential delays towards an on-time delivery, and orchestrating and integrating project plan adjustments when necessary.
- Elevating project management processes, standards and templates, and guiding teams through the SHAPE+ approach, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and adherence to the methodology.

YOUR PROFILE
- Experienced project manager in large and complex IT transformation projects (minimum 5 years). Familiarity with key project activities such as Fit-Gap Analysis, Software Build, Testing, Data Migration, and Platform Cutover. ERP transformation or Finance experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, as well as diverse stakeholder requests.
- Resilience and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges and leading change. Willingness to be hands-on and actively engage when necessary.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including being situationally aware, adeptly guiding teams towards achieving common goals, and fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, moderate discussions, and deliver presentations effectively, addressing diverse seniority levels.
- Exceptional English language skills, German language is a strong plus.
- Strong tool affinity and proficiency in Project Management Software such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project. Experience in process automation or generative AI are a plus.
