The role of the Corona Senior Brand Manager, Germany is to define and lead the brand strategy for the German market in consultation with the respective commercial teams.
Corona is #1 bet for the German business and for the Business Unit, top 3 Corona markets in Europe. The main focus of this role is to ensure the brand is executed to its highest standards, with a full 360 mindset, to continue to deliver growth and revenue for the Zone.
The role
The purpose of the role is to develop and implement the brand strategy and marketing plans in Germany, supporting the Marketing Manager. You will implement marketing concepts and activities and execute these projects internally and externally aligned with brand vision and in cooperation with agencies and suppliers. You will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders to align the plans and take ownership of the results. You will also be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of the conducted marketing activities as well as responsible for the efficient management of the marketing budget and budget planning for Corona.
Responsibilities:
  • Being the lead brand voice for Germany in all key operational meetings with key stakeholders. Ensure operational execution is well aligned to brand strategy across the full suite of consumer touchpoints from ATL to pack.
  • Budget management & full responsibility for the Corona budget in Germany. Making sure we spend our money in the best way, but also making sure we stay in budget and close to the LE´s.
  • Lead Corona 1Year Plan brand strategy in business cycle process for your market, working collaboratively with commercial counterparts (category, trade marketing, revenue management, sales and country managers), in line with Zone brand priorities. This includes defining the key brand jobs to be done, priority initiatives across occasion based pack/price curve, trade, communications and experiences. Ensure strategy, investment opportunities and supporting business cases are aligned with key marketing and commercial stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize local Corona pack architecture and innovation pipeline, including overseeing full business case development and alignment of key marketing and commercial stakeholders. Work cross-functionally with commercial counterparts to guide pack portfolio plans, price positioning, P&L optimization, supply process and market execution both on time and in budget.
  • Oversee and project manage key initiatives to your market such as the implementation of the 100% Natural Integrated Marketing Campaign & Olympics. Guide strategy and execution according to brand criteria, support trade marketing roll-out and monitor/report performance against success metrics.
  • Lead routine brand updates in monthly and quarterly forums, sharing a performance overview in context, including update and results from key projects.
  • Be the voice of Germany for our Global team, and make sure that the development of global projects, are fit for Germany as well. Give input towards our global team on the needs for Germany for future Integrated Marketing Campaign ´s and toolkit development
Who we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in brand management in Germany or a related role in FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, marketing principles, and consumer behaviour.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis (including but not limited brand P&L, category data, brand health) and reporting tools.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Dreaming big mindset & strong drive for superior performance.
  • Fluent in German and Proficiency in English.
