Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager F/M/X to oversee and coordinate various layout
related management projects in Böblingen, DE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a high-
volume manufacturing environment and possess the ability to lead complex relocation and optimization projects effectively. Besides managing the relocation of
machines, the candidate will ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), oversee quality assurance in a GMP environment, and have experie
nce in the Pharma or healthcare sector.
Responsibilities: Overall Project Management: - Coordinate and control all layout-related management projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Develop comprehensive project management plans for all assigned sub-projects, including analysis, optimization, and integration phases.
- Track project progress and manage escalations as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
Relocation Projects: - Oversee the relocation of key manufacturing equipment and areas, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage the detailed planning, optimization, and preparation of the Kitting & Packaging (K&P) areas for relocation.
- Lead the relocation of Kitting & Packaging sections, ensuring all processes are optimized for efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration.
Logistics Layout and Process Optimization: - Analyze and propose improvements for existing logistics processes and layouts.
- Define requirements for a new (preferably automated) conveyor system for in-house material transportation.
- Lead the project realization, including participation from subject matter experts as needed.
- Plan and implement circular packaging for specific projects, optimizing packaging and transportation processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency and sustainability.
- Manage the layout and process optimization of pre-defined logistics areas.
- Conventionalize and implement improvements for specific areas based on business needs.
Manufacturing Concept Integration for New Products: - Support the development and implementation of new manufacturing concepts in various stages.
- Assess the impact of integration on the factory and evaluate sub-projects in the shopfloor environment.
- Plan and implement the integration of new manufacturing concepts.
GMP Compliance and Quality Assurance: - Ensure compliance with GMP standards throughout all project phases.
- Oversee quality assurance processes in a GMP environment, ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements.
Your Profile: - You hold a degree in Engineering (Dipl. Ing preferred) or a related field.
- You are fluent in both German and English, with excellent communication skills.
- You have proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, particularly in project management.
- You possess experience in Quality Assurance and a strong understanding of Lean Management principles.
- You have a track record of effectively managing relationships with customers and suppliers.
- You are skilled in leading complex, multinational teams and navigating diverse work environments.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Experience in the Pharma or healthcare sector is highly desirable.
