Embarking on the development of a new business area
Battlefield Health is Systematics new Market Unit in the Healthcare Business Unit. The Market Unit is combining Systematics existing and well-proven EMR and C4ISR solutions in to a Military Medical Information System, and utilizes extensive domain knowledge and long-term experience to deliver critical decision support for healthcare professionals in the Defence sector.

Over the past year, we have developed a prototype to showcase the product’s core functionalities and value. Now, we are ready to enter the next phase where you will contribute to forming and designing the new product! And you will be participating in building up the organization.

Forming a new product portfolio
As the Medical Domain Advisor, reporting to the Vice President of Healthcare, you will form the product portfolio using your domain experience and background in providing military medical support from your operational experience from land operations and knowledge within multi domain and joint operations.
You will be responsible for the following:

  • Describing needs and defining high level requirements for new capabilities
  • Responsible for the product roadmap definition with support from architects, user experience designers, lead developers and business developer to ensure the product meets customer requirements and delivers on business objectives
  • Form the product to best support the user and business needs
  • Support Sales in proposal work by providing product guidance and provide them with the necessary product information, sales collateral, and assistance at special customer visits
  • Participate in customer events to present product news and engage with participating customers to discuss improvement opportunities and new requirements

You will be working with the development team, user experience designers and technical architects based at our headquarter in Aarhus to discover and define compelling and creative solutions to new user requirements. Therefore, you should expect on average 30 travel days a year

Experience with MEDEVAC/CASEVAC and wanting to make an impact
We imagine that you have a background as an officer, NCO (non commission officer), military doctor at a medical treatment facility and experience with land based MEDEVAC/CASEVAC procedures and coordination.
Furthermore, you most likely can recognize yourself in the following:

  • Have practical / operational experience in organizing and providing medical treatment in general and with MEDEVAC/CASEVAC and Patient Evacuation Coordination specifically

  • Professional proficiency in English & German, both written and oral

It would be beneficial if you should have some experience with the use of SitaWare products as well as having had some experience with IT development e.g. defining requirements for IT solutions.
As a person, you are able to use abstract thinking to understand the bigger picture and arrive at specific solutions. You have the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority as well as the ability to work and establish relations cross-country both internally and externally towards customers.
