As a cost controller, you will play a key role in planning budgets, monitoring costs and developing strategies to optimise the costs of major projects. In this role you can work at any

Your responsibilities - Responsibility for project controlling and cost management of a highly complex large-scale EPCM project focussing on industrial and large-scale plants
- Preparation and control of the construction project budget as well as cost and progress control during the course of the project
- Close communication with the relevant project participants such as Procurement, Engineering and Scheduling to assess progress and analyse deviations and change requirements
- Developing measures and strategies for cost optimization
- Preparing, conducting and processing monthly status surveys, dashboards and project performance reports in close coordination with the Commercial Project Manager
- Continuous development of procedures and documents to control budget, progress and costs
- Completed degree in economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project controlling and cost management of complex industrial projects, ideally in the context of EPCM projects or in the construction industry
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong quality and cost awareness as well as a confident presentation in project meetings
- Business fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
- Independent, structured way of working and high ability for interdisciplinary thinking and cooperation
