ResilNet is an international network in which scientists from psychiatry/medicine, psychology, computer science and mental health sciences conduct research on the topic of resilience to mental illness. The focus is on multidisciplinary analysis of different levels of resilience on the psychological, clinical, brain-functional/structural and genetic level, which includes methods of MR imaging as well as machine learning-based approaches for the evaluation of large data sets of this multi-national consortium. In addition to existing cohorts of individuals with mental illnesses (depression, schizophrenia, autism, etc.), the network also examines individuals with traumatic experiences (war refugees, natural disasters) and diseases such as Covid in order to analyze clinical and subclinical trajectories after extreme stress with regard to biological and psychological predictors of resilience. This international and interdisciplinary network is coordinated by the Marburg working group, with partners in Australia, Italy, Spain, Israel and Turkey.
