Vertex is looking for enthusiastic, curious and dedicated students to join our International Patient Engagement (IPE) team for a working student. This based position is located at our office in Munich, Germany. Applicants should be undertaking a relevant degree qualification and ideally have a strong interest in patient engagement in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry.
The IPE team is responsible for bringing the patients’ perspective into Vertex’s work by establishing meaningful collaborations with patient communities at in-country and above-country level. IPE works across the whole lifecycle of therapies and medicines developed by Vertex. By joining IPE, you will learn how Vertex engages externally and how such engagement shapes decisions across the whole lifecycle of Vertex’s medicines and therapies, from early research to post-marketing.
In this role you will get the opportunity to learn about our industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be learning more about patient organizations and perspective while working alongside some of the brightest people in the industry. Students can expect to be challenged by their work and feel valued by the Vertex community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates and helps prepare meeting materials, including meeting agenda, talking points, presentations, pre-reads, minute- or note-taking and assembling/editing PowerPoint presentations

In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
