Purpose
As the Regional Sales Manager for Resins and Modifies, your role spans critical areas. You’ll drive business expansion in Europe while managing key accounts globally, with a focus on CASE customers (Adhesive, Construction, Sealants). Simultaneously, your primary objective is to lead business expansion in the North Americas region, overseeing key account management for global and medium-sized companies within the adhesive, plastics, rubber, and coating industries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Execution:
  • Deliver the sales operating plan by maintaining and growing existing accounts while actively developing new customer relationships.
  • Identify and define new market opportunities to drive growth.
Customer Engagement:
  • Visit current and prospective customers, building strong and insightful relationships.
  • Conduct sales negotiations and conclude contracts with customers.
Profit Optimization:
  • Optimize gross margin and sales volume by strategically setting prices, terms, product offers, and product placement.
  • Collaborate on implementing a reliable supply strategy, including warehousing.
Market Insights:
  • Participate in developing the regional marketing strategy.
  • Conduct market analysis of customers, competitors, new technologies, and trends.
Job Requirements
Degree in a commercial or technical discipline. Significant B2B experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
Several years of chemical industry sales experience and key account management. Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop high-level customer relationships. Technical background in chemistry or consumer goods manufacturing. Outstanding interpersonal skills and confident communication. Ability to travel up to 60%.
