Join our dynamic team as a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) in Germany and drive the growth of our customers in the exciting Industrial Automation market!

In this key role, you’ll be the face of our company for our most valued customers across the DACH region and beyond, building lasting relationships and making a real impact on their success. You’ll be responsible for acquiring and growing high-value accounts in the Industrial Automation ecosystem, acting as the go-to person for all customer needs. By anticipating their goals and working collaboratively with our team, you’ll ensure seamless delivery and exceed customer expectations.

In addition, you will bring in new business from existing customers or contacts and develop new relationships with potential customers.

We’re looking for a seasoned Key Account Manager who knows the ins and outs of Industrial Automation networking and computing. Fluency in both German and English and a deep cultural understanding of the DACH region are a must for this role.

Travelling to customers is part of this role.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, anticipate changes, and propose improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the main communication link between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely deliverables.
  • Strategic planning to improve customer results, negotiating contracts with the customer and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Meeting all customer needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new customers
Qualifications


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or relevant technical field (engineering); Master’s degree preferred

Experience: Four to five years’ previous work experience in sales of networking and computing solutions towards the Industrial Automation ecosystem

Language skills: Fluent in German and English. Other European languages is a plus.

  • In-depth understanding of company key customers and their position in the industry
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, customers, and territories
  • Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on customer contracts
  • Proven results of delivering customer solutions and meeting sales goals
