STS Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), Germany

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree: Master's degree in nursing.
  • Education: Graduate from an academic program, approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA).
  • Certification: Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the credentialing instructions.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse anesthetist.
Core Duties:
  • Manage patient anesthesia experience to include performing preoperative evaluations and preparation. Administer all types of anesthesia to include monitored anesthesia care, regional and general anesthesia. Appropriately monitor and manage patient reactions to anesthesia and surgery, manage fluid therapy, perform and manage invasive monitoring, and perform post operative evaluations within the defined scope of awarded privileges granted by the MTF.
  • Comfortable with off-site anesthesia to include gastroenterology, interventional radiology, and bronchoscopies.
  • Experience with administering anesthesia to healthy pediatric patients undergoing minor ENT, Urology and dental surgeries.
  • Proficient in the administration of neuraxial anesthesia for OB patients.
  • Utilize medical supervision model, should be comfortable working independently.
  • Record post-anesthetic visits, including at least one note describing the presence or absence of anesthesia related complications of the procedure.
Required privileges:
  • The scope of privileges for CRNA includes administration of Anesthesia (general, neuraxial, MAC) and administration of all levels of sedation for pediatric, obstetric and adult patients. This includes pre-, intra-, and postoperative evaluation, treatment and the support of life functions and vital organs under the stress of anesthetic, surgical, and other procedures. The CRNA may provide consultation, collaborative management, or referral to other health care providers as indicated by the health status of the patient. ACLS, BLS and PALS required.
  • MHS Genesis experience in the requested position required (1 year)
Work Schedule:
  • Required time frame, Period of Performance, for 90-day coverage: TBD
  • 40-hour work week, no call, no overtime, if OB competent will include weekend shifts.
  • Specific schedule will be provided by the supervisor. Operating hours are between 0600-1800 for regular workdays
  • Location: LRMC Bldg 3711 Room B300 (OR)
  • If OB competent, will work 1 weekend a month as part of a 40hr work week; no overtime; no call.
