About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a hybrid working model in Garching as soon as possible

Medical Affairs Manager EMEA & APAC (f/m/d)

Your role

  • Contribute to the implementation of the medical and scientific strategies for the clinical development of radiopharmaceutical products in oncological indications

  • Support the execution of the Global Medical Affairs Plan, including congress activities, symposia, posters, publications and medical information

  • Develop and/or contribute to the Medical Affairs Conference Plan including symposium set up and content planning

  • Contribute to the Global Medical Pre-launch Plan

  • Facilitate the development of scientific strategies for Investigator Sponsored Studies, Phase IV and Real-World-Evidence studies

  • Support Safety and Pharmacovigilance in monitoring the safety of commercialized products and products in clinical development

  • Provide medical expertise across the entire scope of the drug development process

  • Facilitate advisory boards and other company-led meetings with health care professionals, payors, patient advocacy groups and other external professionals

  • Build and develop business relationships with potential clients and Key External Experts (KEEs)

  • Supporting the development and delivery of strategic publications (e.g. abstracts, posters, manuscripts) and scientific communications plan

  • Supporting the development of key interactions with Patient Advocacy Groups

  • Manage CROs/vendors for assigned Medical Affairs projects. Participate in CRO calls as necessary

  • Understanding of the disease area (Oncology) and medical strategies; providing strategic input

  • Contribute to the development of all relevant medical content per clinical development program

  • Medical representative of the company, with a high profile both within the company and externally

  • Ensure promotional compliance for assigned products in accordance with existing internal and external regulation

  • Ensure adherence to the highest scientific, ethical and regulatory standards and ensure compliance with all applicable GCP regulatory requirements

Your profile

  • Educated to MsC level or above in a relevant medical discipline

  • At least 5 years’ experience in industry, with a major focus on pre-launch medical affairs activities, ideally in both a regional and global capacity

  • Scientific expertise in the disease/therapeutic area (Oncology) preferred

  • Sound knowledge of ICH-GCP and other relevant regulations/guidelines

  • A confident manager combined with hands-on mentality

  • Experience organizing and executing medical symposiums, advisory boards and meetings with external healthcare professionals

  • Excellent presentation skills, preparing and giving medical scientific presentations to expert audiences

  • Experience to work in cross-functional teams (like Corp Comms, Regulatory, marketing,..)

  • Demonstrated expertise in ability to synthesize and communicate medical information clearly

  • Self-confident manner combined with strong communication skills – fluent in business English

  • Exhibits flexibility in working collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders

  • Willingness and ability to travel according to business needs
