We are looking for reinforcement "Expert Subsidiaries Controlling" (m/f/d) as soon as possible. Location: Mannheim.

Your Tasks

  • Analyze financial and business development, cost drivers and prepare gap analysis including reporting to senior management
  • Coordination and support of month-end close as well as budget and forecast processes of subsidiaries. Ensure compliance to group standards and reporting requirements
  • Go-to advisor for subsidiaries for all group-related controlling matters
  • Coordination of regular subsidiaries review meetings; define and align content, present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Development of new controlling and reporting concepts, strive for continuous enhancement of reporting automation and digitalization
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for all kind of profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow matters
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, own project milestones and drive towards solutions, e.g. support business cases / evaluations

Your Profile

  • A degree in business administration - focus on finance, controlling or accounting
  • Multi-year experience in various financial controlling roles, preferably including IFRS accounting knowledge
  • Strong day-to-day experience with Office 365 tools (MS Power BI, Excel, PPT), incl. visualization skills of complex data for management reporting purposes
  • Expertise with Cognos Controller preferred; overall strong system-oriented approach an advantage
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary teams, proven argumentation and decision-making skills
  • Able to work independently & well-structured through utilizing strong conceptional and analytical skills
