Job Description:


Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) is seeking experienced Behavioral Health professionals to provide advanced support services to the US Army in developing and implementing a tailored Health & Wellness Program that enhances the psychological readiness of the US Army personnel. This is a highly critical and rewarding position. A Secret clearance is preferred.


Core Duties:

  • Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
  • Shall comply with appropriate Army OTSG/MEDCOM, DHA, and/or Combatant Command Force Heath Protection policies for deployment assessments.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
  • Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders
  • Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
  • Assist in rehabilitation of patient.



Job Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree: Master’s or Doctorate Degree
  • Education: Graduate from a Clinical Social Worker Education (CSWE) Accredited School
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of four (4) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical social work post licensure, preferably in a government setting such as a DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in psychotherapy services
  • Experience in behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, public speaking, and case management.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a licensed clinical social worker in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): possess and maintain current course completion documentation for BLS through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program.
  • Knowledge/Skills:
    • Ability to practice at the independent level without requiring state mandated clinical supervision and demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standard and ethics requiring delivery of social work services.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds, including enlisted personnel, officers, senior military and civilian leadership, spouses and other family members.
    • Well versed in crisis debriefing, traumatic event counseling, individual and family counseling, case management, and training.
    • Ability to develop, prepare, and present formal briefings and speeches to INSCOM leadership (at all echelons).
    • Understanding of the military lifestyle and culture is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally and work as part of a team with maturity, professionalism, positive attitude, tact and good judgment.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Security Clearance: Secret Clearance preferred. Final clearance, TS/SCI
