People Advisor (Personalsachbearbeiter*in)

We are looking for a People Advisor (f/m/d) to join the People Advisory team in Hamburg, Germany.

Key responsibilities

Your role as a People Advisor will be to solve the HR-related queries of our employees and managers and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience.

For this you will:

  • Own to resolution people’s inquiries about HR policies and procedures, like transfers, benefits, leave, and other matters related to the employee lifecycle
  • Respond to our employees and managers through a variety of channels (HR case management, phone, email, live chat)
  • Guide employees and managers in using self-service in Workday and other HR systems, to facilitate technology adoption
  • Manage HR data quality and perform transactions in Workday
  • Work together with People Partners and functional specialists to solve complex queries
  • Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Run HR related reports and analyze HR data as requested by the business
  • Support improvement activities to simplify and standardize the HR processes
  • Maintain good contact with our Employee Representatives on regular topics
  • Create and share Works Council Hearings for personnel measures

We are looking for

Saying that you should be customer-oriented is an understatement: we need you to be passionate about employee experience! You have high energy and drive and efficiently manage resolution of every employee query.

As for the skill set and experience, we are looking for:

  • A degree in Human Resources or similar
  • Five years + work experience within HR
  • Good knowledge of local legal labour regulations, specially Betriebsverfassungsgesetz
  • Experience working with HR systems, preferably Workday
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in virtual teams as well as an international environment
  • Fluent in German and English
