Manager* Procurement CRO Services
In this role as Manager* Procurement CRO Services you will develop and take responsibility for the procurement category strategy to ensure clinical outsourcing needs in a regulated environment as well as driving continuous improvement of our business processes with the aim of realizing our clinical study pipeline.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Early engagement with your business stakeholders to define the best approach and outsourcing model
- Lead the sourcing activities from identification of need to contract execution including RFI/RFP management, decision-making to final vendor selection as well as contract negotiation (MSAs, Work Orders and Change Orders) and manage required resources and process documentation
- Actively manage and contribute to risk management, supplier qualification / due diligence with SMEs and key stakeholders
- Strive for cost optimization and manage KPIs for the assigned procurement category
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders such as Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Quality Assurance as well as other enabling functions such as Legal and Finance
What you have to offer.
- University degree in a related field and several years of relevant professional experience (> 3 years)
- Profound knowledge in pharmaceutical procurement in the area of Clinical Outsourcing
- Comprehension of procurement processes and industry requirements in general
- Be highly adaptable to dynamic environment with self-starter attitude
- Ability to prioritize and work independently on multiple activities at the same time
- Good communication and facilitation skills as well as stakeholder management skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and German language skills are an add-on
