About our client

Our client is a highly successful, European, buy-and-build platform in the services sector backed by a private equity investor from the Nordics. They have grown to a revenue of over EUR 700m and are currently looking to grow their German platform, by adding an M&A Manager, to their team based in Düsseldorf.
In this role, you will have ownership over large parts of the M&A process, reporting to the Head of M&A and will play a significant role in anchoring and developing the international platform in the German market. What the job involves

• Development and execution of the M&A strategy
• Target sourcing and evaluation
• Plan, execute and lead due diligence processes
• Lead deal negotiations
• Creating business case proposals
• Building and extending your network both internally and externally

Who we are looking for

• Several years of experience in corporate development, M&A, private equity or transaction services
• Strong track record of executing deals, especially German small- & mid-cap
• Fluency in German and English
• Proactive self-starter mentality and high self sufficiency
