Manager Sales & Operation Planning EMEA (m/f/d) Medical Repair Services

Your responsibilities

Olympus is seeking an experienced Manager Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead the S&OP function across all sites in EMEA for our Medical Repair Services. This pivotal role with technical leadership responsibility, is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing comprehensive S&OP processes that integrate demand, supply, and financial planning. Are you ready to drive superior cross-functional engagement and ensure alignment between strategic and operational plans to maximize sales, profit, and operational efficiency? Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage statistical models to optimize repair capacity without compromising customer service levels.
  • Oversee monthly demand forecast aggregation and repair capacity planning, ensuring consensus among key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a rolling S&OP plan for an 18-month horizon, aligning demand and capacity.
  • Analyze forecast demand versus actual demand, identifying trends and changes.
  • Collaborate with Service Sales to incorporate promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts into aggregate demand.
  • Communicate significant forecast or capacity changes to Scheduling and Repair teams promptly.
  • Lead the resolution of key supply-demand and service-cost issues, documenting assumptions and adjustments to forecasts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes, measuring and enhancing plan accuracy with defined metrics.
  • Optimize network and allocation processes to minimize costs and maximize service efficiency.
  • Develop and implement capacity simulation processes for sensitivity analysis and growth planning.

Your qualification

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional international teams and stakeholder management in complex matrix organizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow, and improvement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and key drivers within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in complex planning functions, project, and program management.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
